John began welding at 14, working with MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored processes across steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Paid work at 18 included farm-equipment fabrication, blueprint reading and component production.
Researched 3D-printed phenolic sand molds with teams in Chennai and Mexico, studying material strength, brittleness and moisture effects.
Supervised radiator manufacturing, building experience in day-to-day production operations and team leadership.
Internship work included high-pressure die casting for Model S and Model X shock towers and center spines.
Worked on early 4680 cell assembly and the transition toward automated production, followed by electrolyte-filling equipment acceptance and launch. Led a 30-person cross-functional launch team and became a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at 25.
Studied Manufacturing Engineering Technology at Pittsburg State University.

Our mission is to make domestic production competitive and support a capable workforce. Capacity, demand, capital and staffing decisions all affect employment. We do not promise job creation or cost savings before understanding the process.
One process or cell; up to three agreed documents or datasets and 15 minutes of authorized video; a 30-minute kickoff; evidence-led findings, a decision brief and an action register; and a 30-minute readout. A root cause or saving is not guaranteed. Broader investigations need a separate scope.
CAD or design support requires separate scope, verified tool proficiency, appropriate commercial software rights and any required licensing or specialist review. Battery safety certification, stamped designs and safety-critical approvals are not offered.
